In partnership with the Thousand Islands Adjusters Association (TIAA), Parker Thompson and Drive to Stay Alive had the opportunity to visit the 2019 KO Claims Conference in Ottawa on May 2nd and 3rd.
With more than 300 attending the conference, Thompson was the keynote speaker for the evening of May 2nd. With his Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Challenge race car on display during the presentation, Thompson shared many of his experiences in auto racing, before turning the conversation towards distracted driving.
“Distracted driving is an important issue, and I am happy for the chance to share the message of ‘Drive to Stay Alive’ with insurance industry professional in Canada’s largest province. Our discussion highlighted some of the unique perspective that members of the insurance industry have on this issue. Our ability to exchange viewpoints and ideas was truly beneficial. I think we all left with a better understanding of the impacts of distracted driving, and useful strategies to make our roads a safer place.” – Parker Thompson
